Fast and Reliable, Our Water Heaters Will Really Warm You Up.
Unless you live in a cave that is somewhat lacking in the normal modern conveniences, your house or apartment has a hot water heater. The sad reality of these useful appliances is that we tend to install them and forget them until we walk through the pool of water that has been generated by our dying water tank. Redring water heaters make many types of replacement water heaters so with a little bit of Do It Yourself ingenuity you’ll be back in hot water again in no time.
There’s never a good time for your hot water heater to fail. As you get ready to replace your failed water heater, here are a couple of things to check since possibly your lack of hot water is not a symptom that you need a whole new water heater. One of the first things to check for before you get ready to change out your existing hot water heat is whether or not the pilot light is out. If the pilot light is out on a gas heater that means there is no possible way that new water coming into the tank as you shower blissfully upstairs, can be heated up. Perhaps you don’t need a new water tank at all, so checking for a pilot light should be a high priority on your water heater replacement to-do list.
On electric water heaters, the heating coil is known to burn itself out due to the normal corrosion that occurs inside the tank. Corrosion is also the reason why you may have discovered a puddle of water on the floor when you wandered through the room where the water tank lives. A heating coil can be replaced, but water on the floor means the whole water tank will have to be changed out.
